There is a perception that large corporates in South Africa are not doing enough to help achieve the goals of the National Development Plan. The national Vision 2030 Summit, being held from 21-22 June 2017, will be the ideal platform to address this issue – and much more.

All of us, arguably have a role to play in realising the goals of the National Development Plan. What should we practically be doing, as government, as corporates, or as other members of society, to make sure the bright future South Africa deserves will be a reality?

The organisers of the Vision 2030 Summit, Awards and Publication are pleased to confirm the following key industry stakeholders as panellists at the event. Their common goal is to address the challenges of the NDP and how everyone can help overcome the obstacles. They are:

  • Dr Mathews Phosa, Chairman, Mathews Phosa & Associates
  • Dr Raymond Patel, CEO, Merseta
  • Xolani Qubeka, CEO, Small Business Development Institute
  • Thabo Masombuka, CEO, Construction Sector Charter Council
  • Neville Francis Nicolau, Chief Executive Officer, Basil Read, South Africa
  • Maphefo Anno-Frempong, CEO, Transport Seta
  • Felleng Yende, CEO, FPFSeta

The third annual Vision 2030 Summit, being held at Johannesburg’s Birchwood Hotel, will be addressing all major matters relating to the National Development Plan – and how you can join leaders, in both government and the private sector, in taking action on economic acceleration and transformation, in line with the National Development Plan. Your country. Your plan!
