Poverty, unemployment and inequality are seen as the triple challenges which South Africa needs to deal with decisively, in order to create a better life and future for the majority of its citizens.

We invite you to address these challenging issues, and make your voice heard, by attending the 3rd annual Vision 2030 Summit.

The Vision 2030 Summit will be the platform to debate, discuss and determine whether South Africans will be able to overcome these challenges by 2030 – and to project what our country may look like by then. The Summit also aims to provide case studies on what various South Africans are doing in attempts to meet the goal and whether is it actually possible to achieve such a goal.

The organisers of the Vision 2030 Summit and Awards are pleased to announce nine top influential business leaders who will be joining the panel to address these matters and help determine the best ways to reduce inequality and eliminate poverty.

The panellists are:

  • Siphamandla Zondi, National Planning Commissioner
  • Alan Mukoki, CEO, SACCI
  • Babalwa Ngonyama, CEO, Sinayeto Securities
  • Vuyokazi Mahlati, NPC Commissioner
  • Michael Mlengana, DG, Department of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries
  • Kgabo Mahaoi, DG acting, Department of International Relations
  • Sobantu Tilayi, Acting CEO, SAMSA
  • Mohale Ralebitso, Founder & CEO, Itataise Investments
  • Gugu Dlamini, CEO, Local Government Seta

The third annual Vision 2030 Summit, being held from 21-22 June at Johannesburg’s Birchwood Hotel, will address all issues relating to the National Development Plan – and how you, as an ordinary South African, can join our leaders, in both government and the private sector, in driving economic acceleration and transformation in line with the National Development Plan.

To book your attendance at the Vision 2030 Summit, please book online: https://vision2030.co.za/tickets/ or call 086 000 9590.

More about the event:

In 2015, Topco Media hosted a successful Summit on the National Development Plan and published a publication, both of which were fully endorsed by the NPC. This year, we are repeating the Summit on 21 and 22 June. In addition the Summit will be accompanied by the inaugural Vision 2030 Awards, designed to celebrate those implementing the vision and goals of the National Development Plan.
